This classic model is carved out of one piece of beech wood. Engraved on this model is a Lion. The lion motif is firmly positioned within the Armenian pictographic and coat of arm systems․ This is a symbol of inspiration and courage.

This model is completely handcrafted. The other side of the backgammon is designed for the game of checkers. It is varnished. The hinges and locks are made of cast bronze. The entire playing field is hand carved out of one piece of wood.
