This unique box-style chess is carved from one piece of walnut wood. Engraved on it is an Armenian ornament braid pattern. Armenian ornaments are rich in a variety of motifs, types and forms. The top opens to store the chess pieces.

This model is completely handcrafted. It is varnished. The hinges, letters and numbers are made of cast bronze.

The set includes:

The chess figures which are made of a combination of bronze and cast of aluminum and zinc alloy, and the bottom of each figure is covered with velvet fabric. Each figure has the logo of Hrachya Ohanyan’s company.
The set consists of 32 figures.
