Etchmiadzin Coat of Arms of Armenia classic backgammon with incrustation two-sided
This classic model is carved from one piece of walnut wood and features hornbeam wood incrustation. The Church of the Cathedral of Etchmiadzin is engraved on one side, which is the first Christian Cathedral of ancient Armenia and is one of the oldest cathedrals in the world. The Coat of Arms of Armenia, which is a rendition of the emblem of the First Republic of Armenia (1918-1920), is engraved on the other side of the backgammon. The coats of arm of the four royal dynasties of historic Armenia are depicted at the center of this national emblem.
This model is completely handcrafted. The surface is treated with natural beeswax. The hinges and locks are made of cast bronze. The entire playing field is hand carved out of one piece of wood.
